This is a seasonal role on Mackinac Island, beginning in early April and continuing through October. Housing and meals in our onsite cafeteria available at $19.50/day. Bell Captain position functions as the lead bell person . This position trains and schedules staff; informs guests about all hotel facilities, their locations and hours of operation, and handles any room drops . Will work with Front Desk to manage heavy check in and check out days to ensure smooth process for the guests.

Requirements

  • Less than three moving violations in the three previous years.
  • No DUI convictions.
  • Must have current driver’s license.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Familiar with local area and attractions.
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in operating a twelve-passenger van or stretch limousine preferred.
  • One year prior Guest Services/Bell experience preferred.
  • Valid CDL license where applicable.
