About The Position

TheBell Captain supervises hotel bell staff, managing daily operations, scheduling, training, and ensuring excellent guest service by overseeing luggage handling, guest assistance with rooms, and coordination with other hotel departments like Front Office and Valet, while also performing bellhop duties like escorting guests and carrying luggage. They ensure a warm welcome, handle VIPs, manage luggage logistics (storage, tracking, groups), and maintain team performance and appearance standards.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (often bilingual/multilingual).
  • Physical stamina for walking, standing, and lifting heavy luggage (up to 75 lbs).
  • Proactive, positive, and approachable personality.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and local area.
  • Previous experience as a bellhop/bell attendant is often required or preferred.
