So, dust off your boots, grab your hat and join us at Hotel Drover. WHO WE’RE SEEKING: The Bell Captain plays a key role in shaping a Legendary Guest Experience from the moment guests arrive. This position oversees the arrival and departure of all visitors and guests, ensuring everyone is greeted with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. The Bell Captain is responsible for seamless luggage assistance, transportation coordination, and guest interactions aligned with Hotel Drover's standard of rustic-luxe hospitality. We want to work with someone who brings a spirit of fun, authenticity, collaboration, and genuine hospitality to their life and work. We are seeking an individual who can bring the vision of Hotel Drover and the Fort Worth Heritage Development to life. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years in bell/door/valet roles with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for service.
  • Ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
  • Professional appearance and familiarity with Hotel Drover's values and standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and guest, providing a warm welcome and directing people to their desired location.
  • Assist the bell and valet team to deliver prompt and attentive service.
  • Coordinate group arrivals and departures, ensuring all luggage, room drops and transport logistics are executed flawlessly.
  • Train, schedule, and inspect team members for appearance, courtesy, and performance.
  • Oversee luggage assistance, coordinate room escorts, and storage with discretion and care.
  • Maintain an elevated lobby presence, engaging guests proactively and offering personalized assistance.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Valet, and Concierge to ensure a seamless and memorable stay.
  • Monitor guest feedback and step in to resolve any service issues promptly and graciously.
  • Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in all bell service operations.
  • Maintain and monitor bell desk equipment including carts and communication devices.
  • Bell Captain may also be responsible for accepting deliveries, providing information about the property outlets and surrounding areas, and maintaining a daily activity log.
