The Bell Attendant provides a warm and welcoming first impression to guests by assisting with luggage, transportation, and general information about the resort and surrounding area. This position plays a key role in creating a seamless arrival and departure experience and upholding Dellshire Resort’s commitment to exceptional guest service. The Bell Attendant supports the Bell Captain and Front Office team by maintaining an organized, professional, and guest-focused presence always.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy luggage safely and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with enthusiasm, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, including loading, unloading, and delivery to and from guest rooms.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, explaining resort amenities, outlets, and area attractions.
  • Provide guests with accurate information regarding resort facilities, local restaurants, entertainment, and transportation options.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and bell stand areas.
  • Deliver packages, messages, and requested items to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
  • Assist in arranging transportation for guests, including taxis, shuttles, and private vehicles.
  • Support valet operations when needed, following proper vehicle handling and safety protocols.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly, escalating to the Bell Captain or Front Office Manager as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, security, and grooming standards.
  • Uphold the Dellshire Resort values of hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence in every interaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
