About The Position

The Bell Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests upon their arrival and throughout their stay at the hotel. This role involves greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring that guests are informed about hotel services and amenities. The Bell Attendant plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guests' needs promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write).
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through in performing duties.
• Ability to read luggage tags and claim checks accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work well under pressure during check-in/check-out.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including AM, PM, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous guest relations training
• High school graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and depart from the property.
• Assist guests with luggage transport to/from guest rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and inform them of hotel services and features.
• Attend to immediate needs of guests for concierge services.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and amenities.
• Transport guest luggage from arrival to assigned rooms and during room changes.
• Assist in locating lost luggage and manage luggage storage.
• Deliver boxes and packages to meeting rooms and retrieve them post-function.
• Ensure timely communication via HotSOS handheld devices.
• Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guests.
• Demonstrate use of room keys and assist with luggage placement in rooms.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of scheduled functions and local attractions.
• Handle guest complaints and inquiries promptly.
• Deliver messages, mail, packages, and other items to guest rooms.
• Monitor and maintain the appearance of lobby areas and luggage holding room.
