Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • A friendly, positive demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Offer warm greetings to guests upon arrival and assist with their immediate needs. Provide a fond farewell to guests at departure, ensuring a lasting positive impression.
  • Luggage Assistance: Efficiently handle guests' luggage with care during check-in and check-out, including storage and retrieval in a timely manner.
  • Information Resource: Act as a knowledgeable resource, providing guests with information about the resort's amenities, activities, dining options, and directions around the property and local area.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a vigilant eye for guest safety and security, reporting any unusual activities or safety hazards.
  • Room Orientation: Upon request, escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation on room amenities and resort services.
  • Special Requests and Deliveries: Assist with delivering any special requests to guest rooms, such as mail, packages, or room service orders, in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front desk and other departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests, communicating effectively about guests' needs and preferences.
