About The Position

Our Behavioral Therapists provide direct therapeutic services (individual and group therapy; treatment planning) for mentally ill adults including assisting our persons served with activities of daily living, safety checks, unit monitoring, crisis de-escalation, and shift documentation. · You’d be an integral member of our Treatment Team, in constant collaboration unit supervisors and other Journey Home staff. · Responsible for helping clients with severe persistent mental illness maintain safety and stability throughout their stay in a residential facility. · This position will work within a 16-bed unit in the Carrick area offering residential psychiatric care to adults who with serious mental illness, in a locked structured setting. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a clinical discipline and one year of relevant experience.
  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to drive an organization vehicle
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Serve Safe Certification obtained after hire.
