As part of the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center Summer Program team, you will report to Director, Summer Program. You will support the Child Mind Institute's Summer Program for children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, and other learning, social, and behavioral challenges. You will receive comprehensive training in the Summer Treatment Program (STP) model, an evidence-based intervention for children with ADHD and behavioral disorders. This position supports both administrative and clinical responsibilities, assisting the program director in preparing and executing the program. You must be available for all required training, preparation sessions, and for the full duration of the program. Please review all the dates below. This is a non-exempt, on-site position at the Allen-Stevenson School and the Child Mind Institute's NYC headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Experience handling sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Passion for the Child Mind Institute's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical program planning, including special clinical projects and research integration.
  • Organize and assist in the development of the Summer Program curriculum and activities.
  • Provide real-time clinical support by shifting between groups as needed.
  • Implement the Summer Program treatment model and ensure program fidelity.
  • Participate in staff training sessions and team meetings.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of training materials for staff and patient families.
  • Distribute and track questionnaires and assessments to measure program impact.
  • Collect and analyze patient data, collaborating with clinical staff to assess program outcomes.
