About The Position
As a Behavioral Technician (BT) at Compleat Kidz, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one behavioral interventions to children with special needs. This position requires you to complete a 40-hour online course and undergo hands-on training to obtain your Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Certificate. You will work under the supervision of a Lead Registered Behavioral Technician and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, collaborating with a professional team to implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Your primary focus will be on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while also working to reduce challenging behaviors in various environments. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting observational data on the learning processes of your clients and documenting their progress using our system. The position may also involve assisting with personal care tasks, such as potty training and diaper changes, as many of our clients exhibit challenging behaviors. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism and help them reach their full potential. The job is structured as a contract position, offering flexibility in hours, whether part-time or full-time, with compensation set at $17.00 per billable service hour.
