About The Position

As a Behavioral Technician (BT) at Autism Therapeutic Services LLC, you will work directly with children diagnosed with Autism and related developmental disabilities. Your role will involve implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. You will also assist in parent training and data collection to monitor client progress, ensuring a comprehensive approach to therapeutic services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in a classroom or 1:1 setting, or implementing ABA principles preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assume various postures for extended periods.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in data collection and analysis.
• Background in special education or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA techniques in 1:1 or group settings to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Track client behaviors and progress using specified protocols.
• Support caregivers in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, Lead Behavioral Technicians, and other team members to assess and enhance client programs.
• Follow safe handling and intervention protocols during client sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy space.
• Attend required training and maintain certification.
