About The Position

The Behavioral Technician (BT) position at Success on the Spectrum LLC involves working directly with children with autism to implement individualized treatment plans. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with children in any setting (school, daycare, etc.) required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and be physically active.
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB.
• Understanding of HIPAA laws regarding client privacy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with children with autism is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Central Reach Program.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze data on client progress and report to a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• Work with children with autism in various settings.
• Assist with client material creation and preparation.
• Directly implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Incorporate sensory activities into sessions, including arts, crafts, activities, and games.
• Record client data into the Central Reach Program.
• Write detailed SOAP notes.
• Perform cleaning duties as required.
• Lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active during sessions.
• Abide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB.
• Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA laws.
• Work in the center Monday - Friday from 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM and in the client's home twice a week from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
