As the Behavior Technician, you are a part of a team providing groundbreaking services. You provide direct care to children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in one-on-one and in group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and training arrangements as identified in their treatment plan. Your role is to: · Effectively implement behavior treatment protocols after being trained in the child’s individualized plan of service. · Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior. · Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the child’s individual plan of service and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of the BCBA. · Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed. · Collaborate with the treatment team including clients, parents and caregivers, outside professionals and co-workers. · Perform duties in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures and instruction.
