About The Position

The Behavioral Support Specialist position at Madison Attic Correctional Services Inc. is a full-time role focused on ensuring program compliance within a correctional Community Based Residential Facility. The specialist is responsible for providing security and supervision to adult correctional clients, monitoring their behavior and whereabouts, and maintaining necessary documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, good professional judgment, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• 1 year of experience or education in corrections, community-based residential facilities, criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, security, social service, mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong decision-making abilities and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation.
• Experience in record-keeping.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in corrections or community-based residential facilities.
• Education in psychology or sociology.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and supervision to clients.
