Requirements

  • Education/Experience requirements: Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
  • Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evening hours as needed
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience providing crisis assessment, management, and interventions
  • Experience writing progress notes and other therapeutic documentation

Responsibilities

  • Maintain caseload of 3-6 clients
  • Meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to provide time-limited, individualized, and behaviorally focused mental health support services to youth and their families to further treatment goals and ensure successful transition of clients and their families
  • Collaborate with the treatment team members to provide crisis intervention and mental health services
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain communication with all treatment team members including participation in treatment reviews, IEP meetings, and other client related meetings
  • Coordinate and implement overall services and treatment for assigned clients, including assessment, treatment planning, evaluation of progress, and termination
  • Complete treatment plans, functional behavioral assessments, progress notes, monthly reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and complete client charts and records to county and agency standards
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision and all program meetings and trainings
  • Maintain accurate paperwork including but not limited to time sheets and mileage reimbursement
