About The Position

Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed. Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

Requirements

• A graduated from an accredited university or college with a master's degree in social work, and fully licensed to practice in the state of Michigan (passed their State of MI MSW Licensure exam).
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience providing individual, group & family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21 and their families;
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective behavioral health care plans.
• Experience working on a multidisciplinary/integrated team; either in an urban school environment, outpatient behavioral health setting and/or primary care setting with high-risk clients/families.
• The skill set to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic integrated team with excellent organization abilities.
