About The Position
Cambrian Homecare, LLC is currently hiring Care Providers to provide one-on-one care to Developmentally Disabled children and adults with behaviors. Care is provided in a home or facility setting. Shifts Available Monday-Sunday 9am-2pm or 2pm-10pm WHAT SETS CAMBRIAN APART! Requirements
- 18+ years old
- CPI or Pro Act required
- 6 months experience working with behavior is required
- Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check
- Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification (valid within 30 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Provide support for developmentally disabled individuals with challenging behaviors, to relieve family members from daily living activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
- Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
- Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
- Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
