About The Position

The Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology & Alzheimer's Disease and the Ken and Ruth Davee Department of Neurology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine jointly announce the search for a full-time behavioral neurologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the non-tenure-eligible Clinician Educator career track. Opportunities for leadership roles are available. There are also opportunities to join or initiate research programs in intervention trials, brain imaging, cognitive neuroscience, and neuropathology as they relate to aging and dementia.

Requirements

  • MD degree or MD/PhD equivalent.
  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology.
  • Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Fellowship training in behavioral neurology.
  • UCNS certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Join or initiate research programs in intervention trials, brain imaging, cognitive neuroscience, and neuropathology as they relate to aging and dementia.
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring within the department.
  • Participate in clinical care and patient management.
