About Your Role: As a Behavioral Health Therapist , you will provide approved therapeutic interventions to clients and families to affect identified needed changes as well as assist with case coordination and/or resource linkage to clients and other involved parties (i.e. family, DCS, Court personnel, non-relativ e supports, etc.) when needed. Deliver therapeutic interventions to clients and families to support behavioral and emotional change. Coordinate care and connect clients with community resources, including DCS, courts, and other support systems. Collaborate with family members and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care. Apply knowledge of child development and clinical best practices to guide treatment. Maintain flexibility in scheduling and travel to accommodate client and program needs.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a discipline allowing mental health licensure in Tennessee
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or be willing to obtain certification before working with clients; and other duties as assigned
  • Has thorough knowledge of child development and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience working with families who desperately need direction
  • Ability to work flexible hours consistent with program needs and work at multiple location
