He/she provides social services to patients and their families including facilitating individual, group, and family therapy for the assigned program. This person is expected to coordinate the treatment planning process, provide therapeutic counseling and discharge planning. The Program Therapist is responsible for ascertaining information regarding placement and ensuring that referrals are made appropriately. Program Therapist needs to have thorough knowledge of the Baker Act.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in social work, mental health, psychology or related field required.
  • License preferred.
  • Minimum: Two (2) years psychiatric experience with Adults, Geriatric or Chemical Dependency/Dual Diagnosed patients.
  • CPI within 3 months of employment
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
