About The Position

This is a part-time day-shift position working 16 hours per week - Mon-Wed (closed Thu/Fri) from 8am-12noon. You will be conducting mental health screenings with first responders (EMS, firefighters and police). Experience working with this population group is highly preferred. The location of the office is 600 Medical Drive Wentzville, IL 63385. Provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) - Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors or Licensed Behavioral Practitioner (LBP) - Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers or Licensed Counselors and Drug Counselor - Mental Health (LADC-MH) - Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health or Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) - Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive assessments and diagnoses using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills for potential admission, including telehealth assessments.
  • Develops a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan and goals for the patient and provides psychotherapy, group, and family therapy if applicable.
  • Collaborates with other members of the multidisciplinary team, as appropriate, to develop treatment goals for the patient.
  • May participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences discussing information obtained from patient assessments, updates, treatment plans.
  • Provides appropriate documentation of all pertinent information obtained in interviews, consultation with other healthcare professionals, referrals, contacts and supportive services provided to each patient.
  • Completes necessary documentation and reporting in accordance with departmental standards and Federal and State regulations.
  • Provides direct clinical supervision to interns and assigned staff.
  • Performs discharge planning.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
