About The Position
UPMC IACP/Western Wellness is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist II to join our team of Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapists. This position is integral to our Community-Based services branch, where you will have the opportunity to provide independent clinical treatment to adult populations. The focus will be on utilizing psychotherapy techniques for patients with lower-level acuity behavioral health diagnoses. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will work in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development, allowing you to make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve. This role is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday during daylight hours, based in Oakland, PA at Webster Hall. The schedule offers a combination of in-person and remote telehealth sessions, providing flexibility in how you deliver care. You will be part of a skilled team of clinicians, participating in regular treatment team meetings to discuss clinical cases, review and update patient treatment plans, and monitor therapeutic progress. Your contributions will be vital in creating effective treatment plans that address the diverse needs of our patients. In addition to providing therapy, you will maintain daily records of clinical productivity, conduct assessments of new patients, and document all interactions according to established guidelines. You will also have the opportunity to mentor student interns and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
