About The Position

Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for our afternoon and evening shift, as well as Saturday's at our South location in Bridgeville, PA. You'll deliver independent, evidence-based clinical services to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting, supporting recovery and resilience in a caring, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required
• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required
• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required

Responsibilities

• Create and manage treatment plans tailored to diverse and complex needs
• Conduct patient assessments and make clinical decisions on treatment and referrals
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and manage your caseload independently
• Support families and engage in regular performance improvement and licensure preparation
• Mentor student interns and support peers in a team-focused atmosphere
