About The Position

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Part-Time Behavioral Health Therapist II to support the office in Butler. The purpose of this job is to be part of a collaborative care team that provides behavioral health assessments and treatment to service patients who have a behavioral health diagnosis. This level of service can be an outpatient treatment program or equivalent to outpatient.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes relevant and evidence-based treatment approaches as appropriate.
• Conducts assessments of new patients, documents clinical decisions, and adapts treatment models for service delivery.
• Assesses and incorporates changing patient needs into treatment plans for various programs (outpatient, partial hospitalization, community, and school-based).
• Regularly reviews and updates treatment plans based on patient needs and program guidelines.
