Requirements

  • License eligible for the LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC in the State of Indiana required.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience providing mental health treatment required.
  • Possess current Indiana Driver's license with proof of current auto insurance.
  • Recognize and commit to the critical importance of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, monitor, and provide comprehensive mental health/chemical dependency case management and therapy services.
  • Conduct assessments, individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning for addicted and/or severely mentally ill adults or seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families.
  • Collaborate with others in a team setting to provide effective treatment.
  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
  • Train and assist clients and/or families in developing activities of daily living to improve their ability to function independently.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on improving individual and family functioning in various environments.
  • Provide effective mental health interventions including individual, family, and process group therapies and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team in planning, facilitating, and coordinating treatment.
  • Identify needs and provide links through case management to other treatment programs and community resources.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment discharge plans as appropriate to client needs.
  • Provide services in homes, schools, or other community-based sites and transport clients in a personal vehicle.
  • Participate in service line quality improvement efforts.
  • Provide psychological first aid in response to disasters or critical incidents, if trained.
  • Comply with all applicable Behavioral Care Services policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Aggressive Behavior Management appropriate to the population served.
