Now hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our facility on Covington, LA! Avenues Recovery Center at Covington is a residential facility offering drug and alcohol detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services. Merging highly individualized, targeted treatment plans with compassionate and respectful care, here you'll discover a truly unique treatment experience. Avenues Covington is staffed by a round- the clock team of seasoned doctors, nurses, psychiatric specialists, addiction counselors and behavioral health technicians, as well as CNAs to provide constant support with Assisted Daily Living Services. Our team utilizes an array of evidence - based therapy modalities - including CBT, DBT. EMDR, MAT and Motivational Interviewing - to achieve the best possible outcomes for every client. Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
