About The Position
Legends Healthcare is a mental health residential facility dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other special needs. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote positive behavior change. As a Behavior Technician, you will implement behavioral interventions and strategies in both individual and group settings, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. You will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual. Your role will involve providing direct support to clients, including those with addiction and co-occurring disorders, and utilizing social work skills to engage with clients and their families, offering emotional support and education on behavioral interventions. In addition, you will be responsible for administering medication under the supervision of a qualified medical professional, maintaining accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes, and data collection. Participation in ongoing training and professional development is essential to stay current with best practices in ABA, special education, and PTSD care. You will promote a supportive and therapeutic environment that fosters growth, independence, and self-advocacy among clients.
