Behavioral Health Technician - Relief
About The Position
Are you looking for a career that makes a difference? JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is looking for a Relief Behavioral Health Technician to our team! Behavioral Health Technician's are vital members of the Community Housing team and provided necessary oversight in our residential properties. Daily work consists of monitoring residents in our supportive living homes, encouraging residents to maintain a clean environment, and daily meal prep. You may be asked to accompany residents on group outings or participate in group activities, so a valid drivers license and personal insurance are required. This is a great position to start a career in human services or behavioral health! This position works 12-hour shifts. Shifts are from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED; postsecondary education
- One year of experience in an environment that requires interaction with a broad cross section of people
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements
- Valid Alaska driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving
