Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in behavioral health, psychology, or human services preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, residential care, or substance use treatment is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.
• Strong communication, documentation, and observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to crises.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EHR systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if transporting clients).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support residents to ensure safety, structure, and adherence to treatment plans.
• Document client behaviors, progress, and any incidents in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Facilitate recovery-oriented activities, life skills, and community meetings.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and orientation of new residents.
• Respond to crises, using de-escalation techniques and following established safety protocols.
• Maintain a therapeutic, clean, and organized living environment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to provide feedback on resident progress and needs.
• Conduct routine wellness checks, headcounts, and house rule compliance.
• Escort or transport residents to appointments or therapeutic outings when needed.
