About The Position
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GROVE CITY, PA, ON THE GEORGE JUNIOR REPUBLIC CAMPUS. The Behavioral Health Technician in the Secure Detention Program is the primary childcare personnel. This position is designed to provide the daily services of safety, security and structure to the persons served. The care, custody and supervision of the persons served are the primary concerns of the job.
Requirements
- Must have at least an Associates degree or Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice or a related field.
- Familiarity with behavioral modification, and treatment principles preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Act 33/34 Clearances will be required.
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule.
- Must be able to perform passive physical restraint.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor youth
