About The Position
Position Overview Department: Behavioral Health - Adult and Geriatric Psych Schedules available: Full Time - evening and night shifts Weekend - day shift PRN - day and night shifts Work Location: UAB St Vincent's East - Trussville Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Provide direct behavioral health patient care. Assist patients with performing activities of daily living. Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggests modifications to the treatment plan. Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nurse Aide preferred.
