About The Position
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, performs paraprofessional duties by supporting individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders (SUD), and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including both adults and children. Responsibilities include instructing individuals in basic personal, social, and work-related skills, and completing other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and reliable transportation during program hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the job duties
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, irregular hours, and participate in on-call coverage.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year paraprofessional experience working with persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
