About The Position
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Reading is seeking caring and compassionate people to join our team of devoted healthcare professionals. Shifts: Part Time Evenings/2nd Shift (3p-11:30p) Why Haven of Reading? Haven Behavioral Hospital of Reading is an 86 acute-care Joint Commission Accredited psychiatric hospital that offers care for adults dealing with mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders. We are dedicated to partnering with individuals, families, and communities to improve the lives of patients through the delivery of high-quality, specialty behavioral health services. We are seeking talented Part Time Evening Behavioral Health Technicians. As a Behavioral Health Technician you will provide direct patient care to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse while maintaining a safe and efficient working and treatment environment. Your ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, quality patient care will be essential to success.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- One year acute inpatient with psychiatric care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care to patients as assigned.
- Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.
