A successful Behavior Health Technician should be an excellent listener with a solid understanding of what it takes to treat or manage behavior disorders. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a vital member of the Behavioral Health Urgent Care team, responsible for providing direct client care, supporting front desk operations, and assisting with clinical and administrative functions. This role includes monitoring clients’ physical and emotional well-being, conducting vital signs, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and efficient environment for all individuals receiving services. The BHT works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support client care, maintain accurate records, and contribute to positive client outcomes.
