Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Capable of role modeling to the clients and BHTs.
Helps to maintain a strong clinical program.
Able to work together with staff to effectively meet the needs of the clients.
Maintains positive relationships with clients and staff.
Completes required trainings and mandatory training hours.
Strong skills in D&A and mental health treatment.
A working knowledge of HIPAA, licensing, and CARF regulations.
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem-solve by gathering and analyzing information, working well in individual/group problem-solving situations, and showing initiative in problem-solving.
Maintains professionalism and does not show favoritism.
Maintains consistency with clients, staff, visitors, and the public.
Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately.

Nice To Haves

Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance.
Assists with interviewing and hiring BHTs.
Assists with employee disciplinary actions.
Develops employee schedules.
Assists with interventions with clients.
Maintains a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients.
Attends facility meetings and coordinates BHT department meetings.
Assigns, monitors, and completes all required trainings for self and third shift BHTs.
Other duties as assigned.
