Behavioral Health Technician / Recovery Support Specialist – SUD Treatment (PRN) Location: Concord, MA (New Facility) Schedule: PRN / As Needed (Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour (based on experience) plus shift differentials About Pyramid Healthcare Pyramid Healthcare is a nationally recognized leader in behavioral healthcare, providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are excited to announce the opening of our newest adult Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility in Concord, MA. This is an opportunity to join a new program at launch and make a meaningful impact on clients’ recovery journeys. Position Summary We are seeking reliable and motivated PRN Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide as-needed support to clients and clinical staff. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, on-call work while contributing to a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Prior experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client admissions, including paperwork and orientation
  • Document client behavior and interactions in shift logs
  • Maintain a safe, supportive milieu through regular checks and crisis intervention when needed
  • Support client activities, including groups, recreation, and 12-step meetings
  • Monitor medication line and assist with distribution under appropriate supervision
  • Transport clients to off-site appointments or activities as needed
  • Ensure adherence to daily schedules and treatment expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
