About The Position

The Behavioral Health Technician- Overnight role at Recovery Unplugged involves providing support to individuals with behavioral or emotional issues during overnight shifts. The technician will be responsible for ensuring client safety, adherence to house rules, and assisting with intake and discharge processes. This position requires effective communication and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate various shifts.
• Knowledge of the 12-step program and the disease model of addiction.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with KIPU EMR.

Responsibilities

• Establish open communication channels and build rapport with individuals with behavioral or emotional issues.
• Ensure clients are adhering to house rules.
• Oversee client intake procedures, including drug tests, personal belongings searches, and completing intake documentation via KIPU.
• Assist in the discharge process by returning personal belongings and completing discharge paperwork through KIPU.
• Perform waived drug tests on incoming intakes and conduct random urinalysis (UA) tests for clients.
• Conduct Q30 safety checks to ensure the well-being of clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility at all times.
