About The Position

The Behavioral Health Technician / Medical Assistant position at Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers is a full-time role focused on providing patient-centered care in an outpatient mental health setting. The technician will be trained to administer innovative behavioral health treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or at least one year of experience in a patient care or mental health office setting, or operating room setting.
• High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Medical Assistant, or other clinical certification may be considered with additional years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems, preferably AdvancedMD and SalesForce.
• Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines.
• Basic Life Support Certification (will be provided).

Responsibilities

• Administering TMS or esketamine therapy according to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Monitoring all aspects of TMS and esketamine treatments to ensure patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy.
• Reviewing and administering psychiatric rating scales to patients.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to patient discomfort during treatment using FDA pre-approved guidance.
• Delivering exceptional patient care by demonstrating empathy and providing support to patients.
• Recording treatment session notes in EHR and collaborating with team members as needed.
• Scheduling patients and conducting checkout procedures, including collecting co-payments.
• Maintaining understanding of insurance and billing procedures to support workflows.
