In this role, you'll provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients in residential and withdrawal management settings. You'll help monitor health indicators, facilitate structured activities, respond to crises, and support medication administration-all while fostering a safe, therapeutic environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment
  • Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents
  • Basic math and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to navigate electronic medical records
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with clients

Responsibilities

  • Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients
  • Monitor vital signs and escalate when necessary
  • Oversee and document medication administration
  • Monitor OTC medications and maintain inventory
  • Document blood glucose levels and maintain equipment
  • Conduct supervision checks per safety plans and procedures
  • Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing) when necessary
