About The Position

As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you will support those in facilities providing care to patients and community members. The role is within an 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit, staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists, and Psychiatric Providers. The unit treats various diagnoses including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Requirements

  • Current state NA I license
  • Completed NA course from an accredited school
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Accurately identifies patient needs
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for activities of daily living
