Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Team-oriented with a high level of professionalism and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Support client admissions and intake processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs
  • Provide supportive, respectful interaction with clients
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
  • Monitor client activities and maintain daily schedules
  • Conduct bed checks and safety monitoring
  • Assist with medication line observation and interventions
  • Perform searches upon intake or as needed
  • Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and care
  • Help with facility upkeep and client needs (snacks, supplies, etc.)
  • Train and mentor new staff on unit expectations (as needed)
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to support client success
