How you’ll contribute: The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan. The Behavioral Health Technician conducts individual and group psycho-education, leisure activities and life- skill training and coaching for all patients. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.   Denver Springs is a 96-bed mental health and addiction treatment center, offering highly specialized inpatient and outpatient services for adults and their families. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities
