Pyramid Healthcare is expanding with a brand-new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC. We are seeking compassionate and reliable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our growing team and support individuals on their recovery journey. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct care and supervision to clients in treatment, helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. You’ll work closely with clinical staff to support daily programming, ensure client safety, and promote positive recovery outcomes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Behavioral health, healthcare, or related experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm and effective in crisis situations
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Commitment to client-centered care and recovery

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client intakes and admissions process
  • Supervise and engage clients throughout treatment programming
  • Monitor and document client self-administration of medications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support daily schedules, activities, and group programming
  • Provide client transportation as needed
  • Respond to behavioral or emotional crises with appropriate intervention
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment
  • Assist with meals and basic client care needs
  • Follow treatment plans and support individualized client goals
  • Uphold professional boundaries and ethical standards
  • Complete required trainings and support team initiatives
