Summary: An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services, this direct care position primarily involves interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. The role assists clinical and administrative teams in identifying and serving client needs. Requirements

  • Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus
  • Active valid driver's license
  • CPR course required within 30 days of hire
  • Completion of various safety training upon hire
  • Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Capability to perform frequent extended transports
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Excellent customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program
  • Maintain client documentation
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
  • Coordinate client activities
  • Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
  • Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment
  • Assist with the dietary needs of clients
  • Complete all required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
