Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital
is a 96- bed behavioral health hospital
that has been offering exceptional care to the Tampa, FL community. We are proud to be recognized by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke and Brain Injury Specialty programs.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan.
• Conducts individual and group psychoeducation, leisure activities and life- skill training and coaching for all patients.
• Responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.
