About The Position

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Tree of Life Arizona involves working part-time with adolescent males aged 12-17 in a residential facility. The role focuses on providing structure, consistency, and nurturing support to at-risk youth, while implementing treatment goals and ensuring their health, safety, and welfare in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a social-related field with no experience, or
• Bachelor's degree in any field with 1 year of experience, or
• Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or
• High School (GED) degree with 4 years of experience.
• Must be 25 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a 39-month clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass Criminal Background Checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• 2 years of experience in behavioral health (preferred).

Responsibilities
