Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• College degree in behavioral health science or one year Psychiatric Technician experience in an in-patient acute psychiatric hospital.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates.
• Provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures.
• Supports the Department by performing a variety of service related activities, including maintaining facilities and supplies.
