About The Position
At Lifeskills South Florida, our residential treatment program is dedicated to providing hope and support for clients suffering from mental health and substance use disorders. Located in the serene environment of Deerfield Beach, we offer a secure and nurturing atmosphere that fosters balanced recovery and healing. Our clients reside in fully furnished townhomes, staffed 24 hours a day, which allows them to adapt their new coping skills within the local community while engaging in therapeutic processes. Our goal is to help clients transition back into their homes, families, and careers with renewed self-esteem, direction, and control. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will play a crucial role in interacting with clients throughout your shift, assisting and supporting them with their functional needs. You will be responsible for managing the daily milieu of the facility, ensuring client safety, and maintaining a therapeutic environment. Familiarity with clients' histories and needs is essential, as you will need to identify cues and behaviors that may indicate changes in their status or condition. Documentation in client records and proactive communication with clinical team members and supervisors are key responsibilities of this role. Our team is composed of dynamic and dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing evidence-based and personalized clinical care for mental health disorders and behavioral health conditions.
