Behavioral Health Technician – 1st Shift 📍 Silvermist Recovery – Renfrew, PA 💰 $17 – $18/hour (based on experience) 🕘 Full-Time | 1st Shift 730 am - 4 pm / Friday - Tuesday Be Part of the Recovery Journey Silvermist Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our 1st Shift team in Renfrew, PA. As a BHT, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through residential treatment, helping them build stability, and ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral health standards and compliance guidelines preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program
  • Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
  • Observe and record client self-administration of medications (as applicable)
  • Provide client transportation and supervise during travel
  • Coordinate and oversee daily client activities
  • Support treatment goals by following individualized care plans
  • Respond to client needs, including crisis intervention when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment
  • Assist with meals and dietary needs of clients
  • Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics
  • Complete required trainings and perform other duties as assigned
