We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being. Pyramid Healthcare in Augusta is currently seeking Overnight Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs). Compensation: $15 per hour with Shift differential of up to 1.50 per hour Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably possess experience in behavioral health or general healthcare.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with a safe driving record.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems through gathering and analyzing information.
  • Capability to manage a crisis or potential risk situation and respond appropriately.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state standards, as well as regulatory body and compliance standards.
  • Commitment to upholding the staff code of ethics and maintaining therapeutic boundaries.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably possess experience in behavioral health or general healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the intake process for new clients entering the program.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate client documentation.
  • Observe and document clients' self-administration of medication, as applicable.
  • Effectively coordinate client activities.
  • Adhere to treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
  • Provide transportation services for clients.
  • Assess clients' behavioral and emotional needs, responding appropriately, including crisis intervention.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
  • Assist with clients' dietary requirements.
  • Transport clients to and from designated locations within expected time frames.
  • Supervise and support clients during transportation.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation related to the services provided.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
