About The Position

Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care. Our mentors are a vital part of our treatment team providing critical support to children ages 6 through 17.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience providing behavioral health or crisis services to children.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.

Nice To Haves

• AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing ongoing one-on-one support and mentoring to children recovering from crisis.
• Facilitating daily check-in and skill-development groups under the supervision of clinical staff.
• Leading daily recreational activities and mealtimes.
• Completing routine documentation regarding provided services and child observations.
• Assisting medical, nursing and clinical staff as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
